Waste Management & Reuse Strategies
We aim for near-zero waste by partnering with companies and organisations that repurpose our off-cuts into bags, jewellery, art installations and more. We primarily use ripstop nylon from local suppliers for our inflatables and incorporate scrap piece optimisation into our design process.
We manage waste effectively, from off-cuts to end-of-life inflatables. Our practices include:
- Long-lasting, reusable products
- Organisation of off-cuts and scrap for reuse
- Partnering to utilise off-cuts and scraps
- Second-life and upcycling programmes for end-of-life inflatables

End-of-Life Solutions & Recycling Initiatives
After each project, we meticulously organise scrap pieces by size and colour for future use. These scraps are transformed into smaller items like bags, costumes, doll clothes and our remote control robot, Robob. Excess fabrics too small for our reuse are donated to Wyatt & Jack, a local company that makes bags from old bouncy castles, as well as to local primary schools, artists like Helena Doyle (www.helenadoyle.co.uk) and other organisations for arts and crafts activities and art installations.
